A loan of $216 helped to expand a general store.
Malik Eid Muhammad of Gujranwala, is married and the father of seven children. He has spent his life making beautiful embroidery items and selling them in the local market. But the income he earned from selling handiwork went toward providing daily necessities for his family, which never allowed him to save so he could buy embroidery supplies in bulk at a lower cost. And, because he had no collateral, he couldn’t access a loan from a traditional lending institution. With his family extending and children growing up, his family needs have now multiplied. Though he started a new general store, it has not shown much progress due to lack of stock. Now, Eid Muhammad is stuck in this vicious cycle of poverty and the only way out is to have enough resources to establish his business.  Upon learning about Seedout , he decided to take out a loan f $216. This will allow him to purchase more stock for his general store. All he wants is his family eats better food and his profits tripled to allow him to ell and save more.  Eid Muhammad says he is grateful to Seedout and its donors for things that go beyond the tangible.
